I really liked how receptive my coworkers were with being remote and their willingness to help me learn with the situation. The environment was extremely accepting and casual.
What I wish was different
It would have been nice to be in the office each day as I personally am a hands on, in person learner. However, being remote felt as though I was distanced and a bother.
Advice
Any experience you have is worth while and should be taken as though it is the most ideal position. Even though I was not able to physically work with the other staff, I focused all of my efforts into doing the best that I could, asking as many relevant question that I could, and kept reminding myself that this experience will push me into an competitive advantage.
